About the Journal
The ARIMAA NOKKU (Regd. R. dist. No. 717/2007 RNI No. 17520/2007;
ISSN 2320-4842) is a globally recognized, multidisciplinary,
bilingual (Tamil and English), peer-reviewed, refereed,
international quarterly journal. It focuses on the study of
language, literature, art, culture, history, philosophy, and
science, with a special emphasis on Tamilology. Established in
2007, its primary goal is to promote original and innovative
research in these academic fields, while also encouraging aspiring
researchers to contribute their scholarly articles. Additionally,
it provides a platform for academics and research scholars to
publish their research papers both in India and abroad.
The journal has received prestigious accolades such as the Best
Little Journal Award from the Tamil University and the Best
Literary Little Journal Award from the Ilakkiya Inaiyar Trust. It
is also included in the UGC – CARE List, recognizing its
significance in the academic community.
The inaugural issue of the journal was released in April 2007. To
enhance its accessibility and reach a wider audience, an open
access online version of the journal was launched in July 2024,
alongside the print edition. This initiative aims to increase the
visibility of the journal and make it more readily available to
interested readers.

அரிமா நோக்கு (Regd. R. dist. No. 717/2007 RNI No. 17520/2007; ISSN
2320-4842), உலகளாவிய ஏற்புப் பெற்ற, பல துறை சார்ந்த, இருமொழி
(தமிழ் மற்றும் ஆங்கிலம்)யிலான, மதிப்பாய்வு செய்யப்படுகிற, மேற்கோள்
காட்டப்படுகிற, பன்னாட்டுக் காலாண்டிதழ் ஆகும். மொழி, இலக்கியம்,
கலை, பண்பாடு, வரலாறு, மெய்யியல், அறிவியல்சார் இவ்வாய்விதழ்
தமிழியலுக்குச் சிறப்பு முதன்மை அளித்துவருகிறது. 2007இல்
தொடங்கப்பெற்ற இவ்விதழின் முதன்மை நோக்கம் மேற்குறித்த துறைகளில்
அசலான, புதுமையான ஆராய்ச்சியை ஊக்குவிப்பதாகும்; அதே நேரத்தில்
ஆர்வமுள்ள இளம் ஆராய்ச்சியாளர்களை ஆய்வுக் கட்டுரை எழுத
ஊக்குவிப்பதமுமாகும். அன்றியும், இந்தியாவிலும் அயல் நாடுகளிலுமுள்ள
கல்வியாளர்கள், ஆராய்ச்சி அறிஞர்கள், இளம் ஆய்வாளர்கள் தமது ஆய்வுக்
கட்டுரைகளை வெளியிட இவ்விதழ் ஒரு தளத்தை வழங்குகிறது.
தமிழ்ப் பல்கலைக்கழகத்தின் சிறந்த சிற்றிதழ் விருது, இலக்கிய இணையர்
அறக்கட்டளையின் சிறந்த இலக்கியச் சிற்றிதழ் விருது உள்ளிட்ட
மதிப்புமிக்க பாராட்டுகளை இவ்விதழ் பெற்றுள்ளது. மேலும், கல்விச்
சமூகத்தில் இதன் இன்றியமயாமைக்கு ஏற்பளிக்கும் வகையில் இது UGC -
CARE பட்டியலில் சேர்க்கப்பெற்றுள்ளது,
இதழின் தொடக்க இதழ் ஏப்ரல் 2007இல் வெளியிடப்பட்டது. அதன்
அணுகல்தன்மையை மேம்படுத்தவும், பரந்த பார்வையாளர்களைச் சென்றடையவும்,
சூலை 2024இல் அச்சுப் பதிப்போடு இதழின் திறந்த அணுகல் இணையப் பதிப்பு
தொடங்கப்பட்டது. இந்த முயற்சியின் நோக்கம் இவ்விதழின்பால் ஈர்ப்பை
மிகுவிப்பதும் இவ்விதழ் ஆர்வமுள்ள வாசகர்களுக்கு எளிதாகக் கிடைக்கச்
செய்வதும் ஆகும்.
